Caring for each other is one of the greatest blessings of church life. Whether it’s providing meals, transportation, care packages, compassionate listening, or delivering flowers, there are multiple ways you can offer encouragement and support to others.
Bake cookies and stuff boxes with goodies and a handwritten note for our college freshman and military personnel.
Help provide meals, transportation & run errands for members of our church family in need of this assistance.
Facilities Care & Maintenance
Help care for & maintain the main church, Youth Center, & Retreat Center as needed through repairs, carpentry, painting, & gardening.
Brighten someone’s day by delivering flowers and taking a moment to visit with those who are unable to attend worship.
This team of medical volunteers answers questions about medical situations and medications. They will serve as hospital advocates. They also assist with finding skilled home care givers and appropriate care facilities.
After being trained, visitation team members pick a day of the week to visit church members who are currently hospitalized.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Create a tangible sign of the love and compassion for those going through a tough time by knitting or crocheting a prayer shawl. Recipients are comforted, knowing that others care.
Stephen Ministers are equipped to provide distinctively Christian care for people going through tough times. Training is a fifty hour commitment. Participants agree to serve for two years. There is a bi-monthly commitment of supervision and education and a weekly commitment of care giving to care receivers.
