DESCRIPTION:This adult book study will take place on Sunday mornings following worship services. It will be led by our Parish Nurse\, Jeanne Hickman. She has experience working with people in the final stages of their lives. Through the author and the leadership of Jeanne\, you will examine some choices for dealing with end of life decisions. \n“Medicine has triumphed in modern times\, transforming birth\, injury\, and infectious disease from harrowing to manageable. But in the inevitable condition of aging and death\, the goals of medicine seem too frequently to run counter to the interest of the human spirit.” \nWe will all die. This book will offer some insight into dying with grace and dignity. Planning ahead on your part will ease the burden for your family and loved ones when the time comes. DESCRIPTION:After a three year hiatus\, the 2022 Walk to ENDALZ returns to the Binder Park Zoo on Saturday\, October 1\, around 8:45 a.m.  Registering to walk in the morning also gets you all day zoo admission.  This will be the sixth year the BC First Pres Walkers have participated.  No matter the venue\, it has always been a day of fun and fellowship while supporting a good cause. \nWalking on October 1 is not mandatory for team membership.  You can also participate by fundraising yourself\, donating to a team member\, or publicizing our team verbally or on social  media. She has experience working with people in the final stages of their lives. Through the author and the leadership of Jeanne\, you will examine some choices for dealing with end of life decisions. \n“Medicine has triumphed in modern times\, transforming birth\, injury\, and infectious disease from harrowing to manageable. But in the inevitable condition of aging and death\, the goals of medicine seem too frequently to run counter to the interest of the human spirit.” \nWe will all die. This book will offer some insight into dying with grace and dignity. Planning ahead on your part will ease the burden for your family and loved ones when the time comes. Kits will go out to our Luke 10 Neighbors\, our church family\, and friends. DESCRIPTION:A Pilgrimage weekend is a 72 hour journey in which guests explore priorities\, learn the importance of Christian study and action\, and share music\, laughter and prayers. And maybe best of all\, this wonderful fellowship all takes place in a beautiful natural setting\, away from the noise and pressure of our regular routines. \nThe Fall Michigan Pilgrimage will be at the Amigo Centre in Sturgis\, MI\, at 5:30 pm\, Thursday\, October 20\, 2022 and ending by 4:30 p.m. on Sunday\, October 23. Accommodations are comfortable and modern in the Amigo Lodge\, with generally three to a room with a private bathroom. Meals are excellent\, especially the hearty breakfasts\, all served buffet style\, and prepared by friendly staff. \nThis is an opportunity to get away from the secular world & want to reconnect with\, and grow in your Christian faith.
