It was been 15+ years since these areas were painted and it’s time for a fresh look. \nSpecific Times for Youth Center TBD – morning & afternoon session\nJuly 13-15 OR July 21-23\nYouth Center – only walls in most need will be painted – no changing of paint color \nChurch Office – 3-7pm (after office hours)\nAugust 1-4 OR August 9-11\nChurch office will be painted AFTER their work day has ended – paint colors to be decided \n*Prepping day before painting begins (moving items\, taping\, etc.) and/or Painting with roller or brush-–might require use of ladder

SUMMARY:Second Mile Center  Health Fair
DESCRIPTION:It is a Health Fair with the Health Fair Ministry Van and Team from the Synod of the Covenant for the kids and their families that attend and participate in the activities at the Second Mile Center throughout the year.   We assist with the Health Fair\, doing Height\, Weight and Blood Pressure\, also documenting information at the various health screening stations and direct people from station to station.  Outside\, in the parking area\, we assist with games\, food and other activities.  It is a day of enjoyable work and knowing that you are helping  to make a difference in the lives of others \n*We also provide Health Kits for them which contain: bar of soap\, Chap Stick\, deodorant\,  washcloth\, \nToothbrush and toothpaste 6.4 oz.\, Shampoo – 15 fl. oz (or close)\, Conditioner – 15 fl. oz (or close) and Dental Floss \n  \nWhen we do it  \nSaturday\, July 15\, 2017 Leave church at 8:30 AM\, Health Fair – 12:00 – 5:00 PM\, Dinner\, Home by 8:00/8:30 PM \n  \nSkills needed:  \nWilling to be flexible and do whatever is needed!  Assist with games outside and assist with the Health Fair inside.

DESCRIPTION:A time of service to those in the Heart of the City. We will be partnering with our Luke 10 Ministry\, CityLinC\, and Charitable Union and possibly other organizations who could use our help and neighborhood ministry. Our goal is to put the words of Pastor Jeff’s recent sermon reminding us of our need to “…see\, care\, pray\, receive and go” into action.
