Worship IN PERSON Sundays at 10:00 am and live streaming on YouTube

We began worshiping in person on June 6th when Calhoun County had been in orange status for two weeks.  This was following our protocols put in place earlier in the pandemic.

From the beginning of our return to worship in the Sanctuary we have been live streaming our services on YouTube for those who prefer to join worship virtually while still at home.

You may find our services here:

As time has gone on the situation surrounding the pandemic has changed on a regular basis.  We are doing our best to balance the variety of needs and risk tolerance in the congregation.  If we were living with the numbers currently present in our County before vaccines, we would be closed and filming only for each Sunday service.  However, given the effectiveness of vaccines, the development of new treatments and the personal needs of people isolated by the pandemic, we have opted to continue our Sunday worship with the following precautions:

  • Come if you wish, no reservations are needed.

  • We will all be masking and distancing while inside the church.

  • Pews will be set up for social distance by closing off every other pew row.  The Balcony is open.   Family groups sit together, individuals please sit 6 feet apart.

  • Please give one another space even when it is hard because we are glad to be together.

  • Streaming of our services will continue allowing for individual choice and to meet the needs of those immunocompromised and the differing comfort levels present among us.

  • We hope and pray for better days fighting the virus.  Please make sure you are fully vaccinated for your well-being and the well-being of others.

In all of this we are confident of the presence of God who loves us.  Let us do our best to worship in these days knowing God has given us both a heart for worship and sanctified common sense. Be of good courage.  There is no circumstance in which Christ is not with us.

“Behold, I am with you day after day – even to the close of the age.”
