Mountains and hills are mentioned more than 500 times in Scripture. The primary reason for going to the top of a mountain was to see what was not previously seen. We need to facilitate a climb to the "summit" for a clear vision of God's preferred future for our congregation and for renewed hope in the journey of faith. In the third week of our Vision Summit Series we prepare for the climb by taking inventory of the resources and capabilities we need to realize God's preferred future for our congregation. As we move to conclude our Vision Summit, members are encouraged to read Matthew 17:1-20 and Chapter 6 "The Next Scrappy Church" from the Scrappy Church book. Following worship, there will be a Congregational Forum in Fellowship Hall. It is important that all attend to help establish a clear vision of God's preferred future for our congregation.

In honor of the 25th anniversary of our Dobson Organ, we will be celebrating the special place that organ music plays in worship. A concert presented by our former Minister of Music, the acclaimed organist John Ourensma, will be offered free and open to the public.
