MLK Weekend Pulpit Exchange

As part of the area celebration of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., First Presbyterian will be participating in a pulpit exchange with eight other local churches.
On January 20th, the Reverend William Wyne, Jr., Senior Pastor of the historical Second Baptist Church on Washington Avenue will deliver the sermon at the 10:00a.m. worship service at First Presbyterian. The same day, Reverend Jeffrey Carlson, Lead Pastor of First Presbyterian will be delivering the Sunday sermon at First Salem Baptist Church at 370 Capital Avenue in Battle Creek.
The theme verse for the pulpit exchange is Romans 12:18 “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” (NIV) All are welcome to these services.
