HEALTH FAIR – VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Our second neighbourhood Health Fair will be July 25th from 1 to 5 PM here at First Pres but we have many volunteer opportunities from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM that are yet to be filled. Last year over 175 people attended our Health Fair!
There will be TWO shifts of volunteers during the event – the first shift is 1-3 PM and the second shift is 3-5 PM. There will be activities in Fellowship Hall and the Church parking lot.
We need folks to help set up before the event and we need folks to help with clean-up after the event.
During the Health Fair, volunteers are needed to assist the Synod Health Team in recording information from screenings and helping people move from one screening station to the next. If you have a medical background, we could really use your assistance with blood pressures, heights and weights.
Outdoors in the parking lot we will have a Fun Fair going on for attendees and we need people to assist with games, crafts, face-painting, snow-cones, popcorn, the prize table, parking and more.
Can’t help at this year’s Health Fair? There are items you can donate for prizes and the Health Kits each attendee receives and, of course, we can always use your prayers for this valuable healthcare outreach.
