CALLING ALL KIDS!

Kids entering grades 1-8 who would find it fun to learn and perform a musical show in just one week are invited to check out CHOIR CAMP 2018.     The “camp” runs August 6-10 from 9:00AM to 1:00PM at First Congregational Church.   On the concluding Friday evening, there will be a family potluck dinner followed by a free performance open to the public.

This year’s show is “Rescue in The Night”, the story of Daniel in the lion’s den written in a humorous and kid-friendly way.  Kids interested in a leading role in the play can audition on July 31st between 1 and 3PM.

The cost for the week is $25 which includes a t-shirt and snacks. Partial scholarships are available.  A free breakfast for  kids will be available at 8:00AM each day before Choir Camp. A free lunch is also offered or kids can bring a sack lunch.

On Sunday morning following the performance, campers are asked to  perform a few songs from the show at First Presbyterian Church and First Congregational Church during their morning services as a thanks to both churches for their support of Choir Camp.

Children do not have to belong to a church to be in Choir Camp. This is a week focused on learning music and having a good time.  Registration forms are available from the office of First Presbyterian Church or by contacting Choir Camp Director Lucy Lower .
